Die Ausstellung ist bis einschließlich Freitag, den 24. Oktober zu besuchen.

Adresse: Kreishaus der Südlichen Weinstraße, An der Kreuzmühle 2.

Besuchszeiten:

Montag bis Freitag: 9 bis 12 Uhr, Montag, Dienstag und Donnerstag: 14 bis 16 Uhr

Am Feiertag „Tag der Deutschen Einheit“ am 3. Oktober ist das Kreishaus geschlossen. Der Ausstellungsbesuch ist an diesem Freitag nicht möglich.

Gäste der Ausstellung melden sich bitte zu den genannten Öffnungszeiten am Empfang der Kreisverwaltung und nennen ihr Anliegen, die Ausstellung

zu besuchen.

Falls Sie die Ausstellung besuchen und teilweise das Licht aus ökologischen Gründen ausgeschaltet wurde, dürfen Sie gerne das Licht einschalten und einzelne Gemälde beleuchten, und danach bitte ausschalten.

A tribute to my teacher and Mentor, Artist Mitch Billis

In 2021 a wonderful artist and family friend left this world. I am very thankful to my friend and mentor Mitch Billis for his support and friendship. Particularly in the areas of color, design, and painting in oil his instruction and critique were invaluable. He encouraged me to ignore ego and trends. At the end of conversations and emails, he always wished me "Happy Painting". This is what I wish for him, wherever he may be. Mitch was a unique individual. I am thankful for the experience of joining Mitch for plein air painting excursions in the field and his invaluable studio advice and critique. Mitch was a rare individual who lived his life differently than what was expected. He treated everyone with friendly respect. He is missed.
